This readiness scan shows where your institution (vocational education and training school, university of applied sciences or research university) stands, and where you can grow in terms of learning without obstacles.
The scan is filled out during an interview at the educational institution, with the scan’s developers from Npuls on hand to assist.
The decisions behind, and the structure of, agile education, e.g.: modular set-up, education units and learning pathways. This goes beyond policy alone: it also considers how the education is structured.
The extent of internal cooperation within the institution (e.g. between study programmes or domains) and external cooperation with other institutions, and the extent of active participation in networks concerned with agile education. The focus is on both formal and informal cooperation, with and without formalised arrangements.
The institution’s internal handling of national sector-wide arrangements, standards and architectures to facilitate learning without obstacles.
Whether the institution’s own systems and resources (e.g. SIS and LMS) can be used to support agile education, and whether the institution utilises national sector-wide resources (e.g. EduHub and Studielink). As a separate aspect, this step also looks at the alignment with standards and with the functional management organisation.
The maturity of data and information: not how the systems are organised, but the quality, reliability and standardisation of the data contained in those systems. This includes whether the sources are uniform, the records are complete and up-to-date, and enrolment, scheduling and other processes are standardised.
